Eric Landis
Eric Landis's passion is helping business owners either sell their company now or grow through acquisitions and sell it later for more. Eric’s proprietary methodology drives value to his clients’ businesses and maximizes business attractiveness to prospective buyers. He has key relationships with C-level executives, entrepreneurs, private equity groups, family offices, high net worth individuals, government, community leaders, and business owners.
After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Applied Mathematics, he participated in two startups (i) the first talking yellow pages and (ii) pioneer integrator of software/hardware solutions for small to mid-size companies. Eric was the Founder and CEO of Symetrix, a business consulting firm in San Francisco, CA which specialized in advising business owners on transitions and turnarounds. He represented Greece in the EU technology transfer program.
Co-founded American Equity Partners, a private equity group in Beverly Hills, CA focused in acquiring companies in arts & entertainment, music publishing, hospitality, parking, B2B, oil & gas, and QSR brands. Eric was the founder and CEO of Landis Associates, a business brokerage firm in CA & CO, providing business owners with business sales advisory services. Currently, Eric is the Managing Partner of M&A Business Advisors, a full-service business brokerage and M&A Advisory Firm, in Orange County, CA and part of the leadership team of Exit Planning Institute’s (EPI) Orange County Chapter.
